This is a portrait of Master P.

I drew this for a classical rendering class I had at SCAD. In this class you had to mimmick master techniques and copy their works. Sadly I have no idea who drew this, nor what the piece is called. It was rendered completely in soft pastel and completed in one painful and mind warping sitting.

another stunning piece that could easily be mistaken for a work of the great masters!

i think you did an excellent job! ive seen a few more traditional renderings as such, but yours is phenomenal! you have the varying plains of changing color on her cheeks and around her eyes... the hair, the curls and even the roundness of a style created in europe

in fact i see this almost completely un-tainted by anime (not that anime is a bad thing, but as i said earlier, if you draw anime it tends to show in work) which is an amazing feat, and a true sign that the artist is more than a run of the mill artist, but one who can accomplish many things!

and pastels no less

the only thing i see that sticks out i the lips... they have the sharpness of eastern style... i havent see the original, but i would assume they were a bit softer

but that aside, this is great!
