This picture was an experiment in producing a quick and readable background. For the most part it was all hand drawn, except for the tiles which I used some editing to paste to the floor. I also duped some sections and repainted over them to speed up the process. For one of the more complex BGs I have drawn it was relatively quick. I am still tryin' to feed the speed to my art and pick up the pace. Craig Mullins, I'm'a comin' for ya son. DAYTONAAAAAAAAAA!
Quick.... Uwow. Everything on this is absolutely gorgeous, the perspective and colours are beautiful. And 'relatively quickly' too?? You are amazing x.x
damn chad, i hate you. looking very nonchad like. in terms of its not super anal rententive like usual. but of course the colors and values kick ass. so what is a speed painting for you? a few hours? days? haha. later. and yeah, someone needs to knock Mullins off his throne... haha, i dont know what i'm talking about.
It looks absolutely great! From the lighting to the fisheye perspective to the little details... The floor looks so clean compared with the rest of the picture, but there's nothing wrong with that.

the amount of detail in this is amazing, especially considering its a speed painting. To me this is the best work in your gallery, and it is your most recent, thats a good sign.

I knew the moment you titled something of yours "speed painting" you were going to make me hate you.
You and your marvellously impromptu freehand fisheye effect.
*goes off to pout and draw to Billy Joel. See what you've driven me to?*
